Founder of Ibiza Retreats, is a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher, Clinically trained Yoga Therapist (Yoga Campus), NLP Master Practitioner and Holistic Life Coach who writes for Yoga Magazine, Natural Health amongst other publications and is a Wellness editor of Psychologies Magazine.
In addition to leading 15 or more transformative retreats a year, Larah also has a private yoga therapy practice specialising in Women’s Wellness, pre & post-natal and Mindful Flow Yoga, empowering students and patients with yogic techniques for self-healing, and spiritual growth. Larah is passionate about making yoga accessible for all and is currently pioneering a Yoga-4-Schools initiative in Ibiza for both teachers and students.
Larah began practicing Shadow, Hatha and Ashtanga yoga in 1999, when, following a severe car accident, she combined yoga and complementary therapies to heal herself, from the chronic back pain and emotional trauma, that no modern medicine could cure. After time spent in Ashrams in New York and Southern India, Larah shares the Bhakti Yoga ethos from the heart and teaches in the lineage of T.K.V. Desikachar, renowned as the father of modern Hatha yoga. She trained in Sivananda Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Women’s Wellness Yoga and Womb Yoga.
She clinically trained as a Yoga Therapist with Yoga Campus to bridge the gap between the medical, physical and the esoteric worlds and offers a truly holistic approach to her students, private clients and retreat guests, inviting self-inquiry and feedback throughout the practice to optimize self-led learning. Larah is devoted to sharing yoga far and wide as a “vital 21stcentury tool-kit” to combat the stresses of modern life and to enable us all to become inner-peace warriors, Yoga for her, is THE best way to make our beautiful world a better place.
Larah is also an NLP Master Practitioner with over 15 years experience as a holistic life and business coach. She encourages all yoga teacher trainees to become “Conscious Entrepreneurs”, supporting you to identify your own unique gifts and offerings to leave the training with the confidence to pursue yoga and wellness, if you wish to, as part of your Dharma (life path).
