Rustic charm – a peaceful rural sanctuary steeped in 400 years of Ibiza history…

About: A dedicated retreat centre immersed in nature and surrounded by hectares of fig and olive trees. This beautiful, rambling retreat is formed from a rustic, real-old-Ibiza 400 year old Finca that has been lovingly restored, with sabina wood beams and plenty of soul. What’s so special about this retreat is the beautiful outdoor tent-for yoga, dance and more beneath the pine forest, as well as an indoor mirrored yoga studio. And just a short drive from the sparkling turquoise waters of Benirras beach, it offers amazing value.

Location: Situated in the valley between the villages of Sant Lorenzo and Sant Miguel in the beautiful North of the island. The sparkling blue waters of Cala Benirras is a 10min drive away (or a hike if you feel like challenge!) – and there is a wonderful (bumpy!) camino which takes you close to the heart of the island and the village of Santa Gertrudis.

Ibiza Town is a 25 min drive away and the airport 30mins.

As well as the unique and wonderful yoga facilities, the centre is mostly run by solar energy and with a gorgeous bio-pool to relax.

* To secure your booking at Casa Ananda, a 50% deposit payment is required to the following bank account (S. The 50% balance is due 3 months prior to arrival by bank transfer.

About: Can Amonita is a truly unique sanctuary, which reflects the beauty and peaceful Northern side of the island…

A safe, nurturing, organic environment created with integrity and love by the owners Lizzy and Dominic. Cleverly mastered into a series of spaces with many facets – meditative, peaceful, beautiful and diverse east meets west, colourful Balinese luxury.

The welcome begins as soon as you enter the gates into a courtyard of gurgling fountains, soft shadows and flourishing plants. The water is heated by the sun and the house has been newly built in true Blakstad style – Ibizenc with Moorish influence like the arches that frame the views which seem to melt into the surrounding landscape – in fact, you’d think it had been here forever…

Location: Nestled amongst a fragrant pine forest in the San Lorenzo ‘campo’ in the stunning North of the island. Your nearest beach is the sparkling waters of Benirras when drumming takes place on a Sunday evening to salute the setting sun. Ibiza Town is 15mins drive and the airport is a 20mins drive away.

Bedrooms & sleeping arrangements:

6 bedrooms – all with en-suite. The master suite has a king size double bed and huge private terrace. All other rooms can be twin beds.

Capacity: 12/13 persons based on full shared occupancy

Note the yoga studio can also be equipped with a mattress and there is an outdoor toilet and shower if teachers wish to sleep here to free up space in the main house. Note – this option is only really viable in summer or warmer times of the year.

More details & facilities:

The focal point of Can Amonita is the 18m eco-swimming pool – crowned by the beautiful Balinese chill-out. The outdoor yoga space is a shaded wooden deck amongst the pine forest. There is also an indoor studio space which can be used for detailed work or if the weather so requires!

There is plenty of outside space to explore around Can Amonita – including beautiful campo walks in nature! There is even a yurt hidden which is a wonderful space for meditation or contemplation.

There are 4 bedrooms in the main house and a further 2 set around a courtyard with a pond and the sound of frogs to lull you to sleep.

All rooms have air conditioning and heating.

Price:

* June – End September – £5,500 / €6,600 per week

* April, May, End September and October £5,000 / €6,000 per week

Other costs:

1. Catering options: please ask full details – from 35 – 45 € pp per day, based on an abundant brunch & delicious supper, healthy, seasonal and organic-as possible vegetarian cuisine, teas, light fruit bites before morning classes (optional), mineral water, some locations provide afternoon “tiffin” tea and healthy snack.

Other need to knows about Can Amonita

* A €1,200 Booking deposit required (non-refundable). The balance 8 weeks before.

* Normally the rental period is from Friday to Friday 16.30 arrival, 10.30 departure.

* Can Amonita ask for a €1,500 inventory and breakages deposit, payable when making the final rental payment, to protect against possible damage to the property and is refundable in full subject the there being no damage or breakages.

* The house is cleaned prior to your arrival and additional cleaning can be done upon request to the housekeeper at an additional cost
