I have been a yoga teacher since 2001 and a passionate cook for almost as many years, giving me a keen insight into the food required for retreats and workshops. I have attended courses and studied books on Ayurvedic cooking, as well as macrobiotic, vegan and vegetarian cuisine.
What I have discovered from my explorations of various culinary systems is that wherever possible the food should be locally grown, organic, fresh and with the minimal amount of processing, I myself am lucky enough to live on an organic farm here in Ibiza. Rather than following dogmatic dietary rules I have found it more beneficial to encourage each person to develop a sensitive awareness to the effects of any given food on their own system and sense of well being, then adapt their eating habits accordingly.
From that foundation my focus is very much about colours, flavours, presentation, and the celebration of food.
